Sarah has been working at Miner Institute since 2018. Her research focuses on dairy cattle nutrition and management, centered specifically on dairy calves and heifers. She is also involved in mentoring and teaching students through different learning programs offered at Miner Institute.

Sarah grew up on her family’s dairy farm in Vermont. She has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Animal Science from the University of Vermont and she completed her Masters of Science and a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois in calf nutrition and management under the direction of Dr. James K. Drackley.
