Since 1991, Dr. Ashash has serviced the poultry industry as a private practitioner on poultry and turkey farms in the Jordan valley Israel and managing a veterinary clinic for small animals medicine and surgery.

He earned his B.Sc. in Biology from the Faculty of Biology at Haifa University, and his D.V.M. at The Koret School of Veterinary Medicine from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 1991.

Dr. Ashash served as Head Veterinarian at Zemach Ostriches (Israel) from 1991 – 1998, as Field Consultant and Customer Service at Abic-Teva (Israel) from 1998 – 2001, and as Customer Service and Technical Support Manager in the Export Department at Abic-Teva (Israel) from 2002 – 2009. He has served as Director of Global Technical Services - Vaccines at Phibro Animal Health Corporation since 2009.
