Nancy Vander Byl was born on a beef farm and received her technical training from the University of Guelph - Kemptville College of Agricultural Technology in Canada. She has spent time managing cattle in Australia before settling back in Canada in her current role. She has practical experience on both beef farms and dairy operations. Her work focuses on heat stress, knowing the value of maintaining core body temperature, keeping cows feeling consistently cool, and how body temperature impacts optimal cattle performance.
